Frequently Asked Questions

What makes BASED Skincare different from other “clean” skincare brands?

BASED Skincare is built around clearly named ingredients listed on the label. The formulas use lightweight textures, contain no artificial fragrance and are backed by the 60-day guarantee.

Will the Daily Cleanser strip my skin or leave it feeling dry?

No. BASED Daily Cleanser removes dirt, oil and impurities without stripping the skin barrier. Glycerin and aloe help keep the skin hydrated and balanced after every wash.

Is this duo suitable for all skin types?

Yes. The BASED Skincare Duo is designed for oily, dry, combination and sensitive skin. Bamboo charcoal helps control excess oil, while squalane and ceramides deliver lightweight hydration.

Can I use these products if I have acne-prone skin?

Yes. Willow bark extract gently exfoliates to help keep pores clear, while bamboo charcoal helps draw out impurities. The moisturizer is lightweight and non-comedogenic.

Do these products contain synthetic fragrance or harsh preservatives?

No added synthetic fragrance is used. The products have a light, fresh aroma from eucalyptus oil. The preservative system uses potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate, without parabens.

Will the moisturizer feel greasy or heavy on my skin?

No. Lightweight ingredients such as squalane and rosehip oil absorb quickly without leaving a greasy film. The formula can be used during the day or at night.

How do these products help my skin look and feel its best?

Green tea and chamomile provide antioxidant support, while ceramides and panthenol help support the skin barrier. Daily use helps keep skin feeling fresh, smooth and hydrated.

Can I use these with other skincare products like serums or sunscreen?

Yes. The cleanser prepares the skin for the next steps in your routine, while the lightweight moisturizer layers well under serums, sunscreen and other topical products.

What if it’s not a fit for me?

That is why the BASED Guarantee exists. If something is not right, your purchase is protected by the 60-day satisfaction guarantee.
